SATCOM-on-the-Move (SOTM) comprises of mobile satellite technology, particularly related to military ground vehicles. SATCOM-on-the-Move products differ from their SATCOM fixed antenna systems, in that they provide stable and robust links on and off-road, at speeds of up to 100kph.

The increasing demand for mobile applications covering land, maritime, and aeronautical environments pushes the development of SOTM terminals and systems. SOTM Systems ensure immediate contact and communication between teams during critical operations. The military units can order extraction without leaving covers, convey reinforcements call and transmit medical info prior to pick-up. In disastrous conditions and job site accidents, SOTM systems can enhance disaster response by locating the survivors, and transmitting coordinates to ground workers, emergency calls, grabbing medical info of injured persons and identify CPR or other care instructions at the spot.
